It was a great weekend.

This time last week I was in Dallas, and I had a great time.
I ate Chick-fil-a.
I spent the night with Emily & Erin & Sarah. At different points in the weekend I lay in each of their beds, and I felt at home. I'm not sure at what point I started calling their house "home." I think it was within hours of being there.
I spent time with the Boy Who Writes Me Letters.
I had lunch with some dear co-workers.
I held Christina's triplets - O & Z & Q. And they were perfect, and I was in love.
I partook in wedding rehearsal and wedding festivities. I was honored to be in the house party for Katy and Bryce. I'm honored to have been living with Katy when she met Bryce. Indeed, they are beautiful people who love God and who are in love, and their wedding was beautiful.
After weddings sometimes you think there's plenty of time to look the bride in the eyes and tell her you think she's lovely and that her wedding was lovely, but then the next thing you know you're shooting confetti as bride and groom run hand in hand through paper fireworks, and you didn't get to look her in the eye. (Katy, you are lovely.)
I heard and saw and smelt and felt great live music.
I had breakfast with my dear friend Kelly.
I went to New St. Peter's Church.
And somewhere along the way I realized that I would have to say goodbye to everyone again, and that made me sad.
I saw my mom and brother and sister and had a Mother's Day lunch. And I loved them and was really proud of my sister, in particular.
And I had more Chick-fil-a.

And it was a great weekend.

I just read through all your posts since you left. Somehow I didn't realize you were blogging...what have I possibly been doing that I missed that?

Thank you for sharing your heart here, its always good for me to read and challenges me to think about these things for myself. Miss you dear friend. Much love.

p.s. You look beautiful in that picture of you and Katy.
